ApplyMate is a tool that helps you apply to jobs — tailoring resumes and cover letters, searching listings, and tracking your applications. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used. We keep it short and honest.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore) and is protected by security rules so that only your own account can read or write your information. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
When you use the AI tools (tailoring a resume or cover letter, interview prep, employer brief, etc.), the relevant parts of your profile and the job description you provide are sent to our secure server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the text you asked for. This content is used to produce your result and is not used to train AI models.
When you search for jobs, your search terms (such as job type and location) are sent to our job-listings provider (Adzuna) to return matching postings.
You can edit or remove your profile details, saved jobs, and applications at any time inside the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
ApplyMate is intended for people of working age and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
