Create a referral code

This creates the referral code only — it does not grant the owner any role or portal access. A code and a role are two separate things: the code records who referred a customer and what discount and revenue share apply, while a role (set as a secure account claim) is what actually gives someone mechanic, partner, or admin powers when they log in. After creating a mechanic's code here, go to the Assign a role section below and set that person to "Mechanic" so they get their portal. The owner must already have an account for a role to attach, and any role change only takes effect after that person signs out and back in. Creating a code for someone who hasn't signed up yet is fine — the code works, and you can assign their role once their account exists.

The person this code belongs to — who earns the revenue share. Required. They don't need an account yet.
What kind of referrer this is. It's a label for reporting and filtering — it does not set their login role (do that below).
The public name customers see when they enter this code at signup. Required.
The owner's cut of revenue from customers on this code. Enter a decimal: 0.295 = 29.5%.
Discount the customer gets for using this code. 0.10 = 10% off (the default). Set 0 for no discount.
If this owner recruited other referrers, the extra cut they earn on those referrers' revenue. 0.01 = 1%. One level only.
The actual code customers type. Leave blank to auto-generate a random one. Keep it short and memorable.
If another referrer brought this person in, enter their code here. That's what pays out the override above. One level only.
Caps how many customers can ever use this code. Blank = unlimited. Once the cap is hit, the code stops accepting new signups.
Total vehicles allowed across all customers on this code combined. Blank = unlimited.
How many of each customer's vehicles the discount applies to. 1 = first vehicle only. Blank = all their vehicles.
Last day the code works. Blank = never expires. After this date the code stops accepting new signups.
When on, this code's discount can combine with other codes or promotions. When off, it's used alone and won't stack.
